Suffering is a difficult experience and takes on many forms. At times it can seem overwhelming, as if it will never end. When confronted with suffering we arrive at a critical juncture. How do we best approach this experience? When strategies that worked in the past are no longer effective, it is often helpful to have guidance from a trusted source. TRAUMA

Sometimes we experience things in life that are so traumatic that recovery seems insurmountable. With gentle guidance and compassion, we will work to reset the natural recovery process. Utilizing one of the two gold standard treatments for trauma, change will become a reality.

ANXIETY

With the best of intentions we often worry or feel anxious about what is going on in our lives. Sometimes these well intended behaviors end up hijacking our ability to be the master of our own journey. We can help. DEPRESSION

Depression is the second-leading cause of disability worldwide. Yet, too often, depression goes untreated. Depression can impair your quality of life and relationships, increasing the risk of self-harm and substance use disorders, and is associated with a myriad of physical health problems. But those outcomes aren’t inevitable. By pulling back the curtain and discovering the negative messages operating in the background (“I’m not good enough”) we can begin to challenge and reframe these beliefs. Relief is on the other side.

CHRONIC PAIN

ALCOHOL AND

OTHER ADDICTIONS

When your use of alcohol or drugs seems to be controlling you, rather than the other way around, a change is needed. For some, total abstinence is necessary to break the addictive cycle. Others may be able to moderate their use and avoid the dangerous pitfalls of addiction. We will help you determine which approach is best suited for you, and provide expert guidance to help you regain control.
